Why I built the print life print management software

Our Story

Hi Printers its Cam! Just wanted to share a bit of my experience running a print shop for over 10 years and why I decided to build The Print Life Print Management Software.

During my time running my screen print shop, I had the chance to try out a couple of the leading software options in the industry. Unfortunately, they didn’t quite hit the mark for what our shop needed to effectively manage screen print orders. They were missing key features, like tools to prevent me from being lazy and assembling inaccurate and incomplete quotes. They missed this mark in a big way, and a simple dashboard to manage production priority all the dashboard required me to manually set production based on my best guess. I was a disaster.

So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and build a custom solution. I wanted a quote tool that would make it easy to get all the necessary details from clients upfront, and a simple way to track current orders, duplicate previous orders, and browse our product catalog from one location. To make things even better, I created a customer portal that enables customers to write their own screen print and embroidery orders.

After a lot of hard work, we finally built the perfect screen printing management software. It’s cloud-based and flexible enough to meet the needs of any shop. I couldn’t be more excited to share it with other printers, and I’m grateful for my dev team and early adopters who helped refine and perfect the software. Thank you all! -Cam Earven
